We are a Vancouver based nanny agency , a licensed employment agency specialized in simplifying the process of hiring nannies, live-in caregivers, housekeepers, baby sitters, Elder care, personal assistants, House Managers.

Local Nannies

If your requirements for childcare assistance are of an immediate nature, we will provide locally available nannies with Canadian and international experience anywhere in Canada. These caregivers are willing to take on long-term / short-term commitments as well as full-time or part-time positions.

There are two types of local nannies .

1- Live-in Caregivers:

Live-in caregivers are always to be employed full-time according to the live-in caregiver program , they have to live at the employer's house and have their private room and washroom , the employer bears the responsibility of paying their salaries and medical coverage , he also bears the responsibility of treating them well , pertaining to paying them on time , treating them with respect. The Employment standards act is the guideline that governs the employment of any employee, foreign or domestic. In addition , when live-in caregivers are hired, a contract has to be signed outlining the responsibilities of the caregiver and the employer , the contract is not binding on the parties and can be breached at anytime , as there are no liabilities or responsibilities . Live-in caregivers are very good for working professionals, for self employed ,they are affordable and flexible Live-in caregivers perform so many tasks aside from the primary focus , such as housekeeping , cooking, laundry cleaning ...

As of April 1st 2011:

The following documents are required:

Childcare: For each child : long-form birth certificate or official adoption documents or medical doctor's note confirming the pregnancy and due date of the child. The parents must submit a long form birth certificate after the child's birth. Failure to do so may result in a refusal by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to issue a work permit. If these are not available, any other official document issued by a government authority demonstrating the child to parent relationship (e.g. original birth certificate for children born abroad translated into English or French).

Senior: For each senior : birth certificate, Old Age Security Identification Card, passport or any other official documents showing the date of birth of the senior requiring care.

Disabled person: For each disabled person: Medical certificate , stating that the disabled person requires care (but not the nature of disability).

A detailed description - of the private accommodations provided to the live-in caregiver. A copy of your Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency CRA . In exceptional cases where the person is not required to submit taxes in Canada, the employer can submit: pay stubs, bank statements, the employer- employee contract or any other official documents proving that the employer has the income necessary to pay the live-in caregiver.

2- Live out nannies:

This type of positions is only available for open work permit holders, PR card holders and Canadian Citizens, that are residing in BC or anywhere else in Canada.
Please note that the wages for live out nannies are way higher than live-in nannies and that is where the advantage comes for families that cannot afford costly wages.

Elder caregivers :

They are mostly experienced Caregivers with an extensive knowledge in Elder caregiving .
They come with a medical background , mostly after hospital work such as Nurses, Staff Nurse etc..
They are available now in Middle Eastern countries working in royal hospitals, looking for a Canadian family to offer them a job, they come with a high level of professional work.
